LIFE AT SUMMERFIELD LODGE
Summerfield Lodge is a Sixties style house that has been upgraded and modernized over the years. The three guest rooms are upstairs and dining facilities are off the kitchen downstairs. Generally our house would be described as quite and relaxing.
We live downstairs, the B&B is part of our family home, so our day to day family activities continue as normal. The bed and breakfast experience is very different to staying in a hotel. It is without doubt the best way to experience real Ireland. There is always plenty of local knowledge to share and time to have an enjoyable chat.
SUMMERFIELD LODGE & YOUGHAL
Summerfield Lodge is located in Youghal in the County of Cork , is situated on an acre of garden overlooking Youghal Bay and Ballyvergan Marsh, (a natural conservation area). We are on the western side of the town centre overlooking the beach which is approximately 400 metres from our house. Youghal’s famous Clockgate Tower is 1.5Km from Summerfield Lodge. There is ample parking off street in front of the house for our guests. While we are in a residential area it’s a quiet area. Farrells Pub is a two minute walk from Summerfield Lodge, should you decide on “one for the road”!
